OUR MISSION
Our mission is to strive for Optimal Health in the Lupus and chronic illness community by educating, supporting, encouraging and empowering those affected. Our mission is to reduce health disparities for underserved and underrepresented individuals diagnosed with a chronic illness through equity, diversity and inclusion of all people. This is achieved through disease, physical and nutritional education. Our goal is to provide personalized support services, host community events and spread disease awareness in and around the community. Our end goal is to lower stress levels, encourage self-management skills and healthy eating habits in an effort to minimize flares so that those affected by Lupus and other chronic diseases can live an Optimal Healthy Lifestyle.

Who is KFAC?
Karing For A Cause, Inc. (KFAC) is a Non-Profit 501(c)3 organization focusing on underserved communities in the South Florida Region with youth and families diagnosed with Lupus and other chronic illnesses in an effort to achieve optimal health.
KFAC spreads chronic disease awareness and provides individualized services to help bridge the gap of access for those diagnosed or caring for someone diagnosed with a chronic illness. This is achieved by providing services tailored to meet our clients individual needs. These services include but are not limited to financial education/support, housing assistance, life skills training, health/disease education, assistance with locating new providers/reviews, support groups, medication assistance, referrals, community drives, fundraisers, giveaways etc. Each client receiving intricate ongoing services with KFAC will have an individualized success plan tailored to their specific needs with goals and deadlines in an effort to teach/train them to live a more productive, healthier lifestyle in an effort to achieve optimal health!
